Cancellation Policy for Tour Payment:

• 10% Administrative Fee: Regardless of when you cancel, a 10% administrative fee will be deducted from the tour cost as a processing fee.
• 100% Refund: If the tour is canceled within 60 days from the start of the tour, except for wire transfer fees.
• 50% Refund: If the tour is canceled within 30 days from the start of the tour, except for wire transfer fees.
• 25% Refund: If the tour is canceled within 15 days from the start of the tour, except for wire transfer fees.
• No Refund: If the tour is canceled less than 15 days from the start of the tour.

Most three-star hotels and resorts are very helpful and cooperative with us. However, luxury four-star and five-star hotels follow their strict cancellation policies, which are available on each hotel’s website. Neljore Journeys understands the policies and challenges of all three-star, four-star, and five-star hotels and, therefore, fully cooperates with hotels to maintain their individual policies.

Cancellation Policy for Airfare:

• USD 50 Administrative Fee: An administrative fee of USD 50 will be applicable for all canceled tickets that have already been issued by the airline.
• 90% Refund: Permitted for tickets canceled more than 30 days before the first date of travel.
• 75% Refund: Permitted for tickets canceled from 10-29 days before the first date of travel.
• 50% Refund: Permitted for tickets canceled from 4-9 days before the first date of travel.
• No Refund: Permitted for cancellations made 3 days or less before the first date of travel.
• Rescheduled Tickets: Not permitted for refunds.

Emergency Tour Cancellation Policy:

Under this policy, Neljore Journeys provides maximum support after verifying the evidence of the unavoidable circumstances mentioned below:

• Death in the Family:Neljore Journeys requires a cancellation email and death certificate before processing the refund. A 100% refund (land) will be provided; however, transfer charges will be deducted by banks, notwithstanding the withholding of 10% of the tour cost as administrative charges. For flights, check the aforementioned flight cancellation policy. Refunds are not permitted for no-shows after arrival.
• Serious Illness/Accidents: Neljore Journeys requires a cancellation email and medical papers from the hospital to verify before processing the refund. A 100% refund (land) will be provided; however, transfer charges will be deducted by banks, notwithstanding the withholding of 10% of

the tour cost as administrative charges. For flights, check the aforementioned flight cancellation policy. Refunds are not possible for no-shows after arrival.

A one-time visa fee of USD 40 will be non-refundable once the visa is processed as per the Tourism policy.

It’s important to note that Neljore Journeys is not responsible for any additional charges that may be imposed by the Department of Tourism, airlines, or local banks.

Payment Terms:

• 25% payment is required while confirming the tour for the land part.
• 100% payment is required to confirm the 4-star & 5-star hotels/resorts booking, as per the hotel policy.
• 100% payment is required for the flight tickets before the purchase of tickets.
• The balance payment for the land must be paid one month prior to the arrival date.
• Bhutan visas will be approved by the government only after full payment is received.

International Wire Transfer to Bhutan:

To remit funds in foreign currency from any part of the world (excluding India) to Bhutan, please request your bank to remit the money through the Bank of Bhutan’s correspondent bank in New York—STANDARD CHARTERED BANK.

The remittance of funds to the Bank of Bhutan can be done through SWIFT transfer. All USD fund transfers to the Bank of Bhutan can be transferred via SWIFT transfer through STANDARD CHARTERED BANK in New York.
